Lakes are not warming up very fast with the weather we are having.    It is suppose to start warming up by Tuesday.  On Pickerel Lake the water level is about a third of the way up the DNR posts and a lot of other area lakes are up as well.

Paul DuChene won the Mesh dive bag by identifying the person in the picture.  The Picture was taken on the first Tri-State Diving dive trip to Isla Mujeres in the Caribbean . It is a picture of yours truly trying to pick a coconut.  I will let you know when I am posting another picture.

When doing your first dive of the season remember that your skills might be a little on the rusty side so make your first dive on the conservative side and take some time to practice on your basic skills so that if you do get into a situation it should be an automatic response to get back on track. It is always good to practice accents and descents, mask clearing, regulator recovery, and sharing air with your dive buddy so if you need to perform any of the skills it should be automatic.  Now is a good time to get your equipment checked out so it will be in top condition when you want to make that first dive.  Check all your equipment straps and hoses for wear and replace them are get a spare so that you don't have to time setting out on shore while the rest of the group is diving.

This week's special is Innovative Scuba Concepts Yoke Light for 30% off while they last. They retail for $24.95 so it is a good way to always have a marker light available all the time. You replace your regulator yoke screw and replace it with this high visibility yoke marker light.  It is always attached to your regulator and can be used in limited visibility, cave, cavern, night, and wreck diving so your dive partner knows where you are at.

Next Saturday is our Super Spring Scuba Sale from 9 AM to 4 PM and all new merchandise will be marked down %20 for the day and we will have some nice door prizes.
