It looks like it is finally going to warm up. It is surprising how little ice is on the lakes this year with all the cold weather we have had. I think it has a lot to do with the large amount of snow cover we have had this winter.
I have had a lot of interest in the Fiji trip next Jan. I have reserved spots for 12 people so if you are interested in any information on the trip let me know. We will be staying at Benga Lagoon which has some of the best diving in Fiji with over 100 dive site. Scuba Diving Mag. rates it as the best soft coral diving in the world. There are no roads on the island and when visiting with the resort rep. he says you really get immersed in the culture of the island. We have a booklet and video on the resort and island and would be happy to show them to you.
Last Sat. Doyle, Landon, and I did a show at the West ridge Mall in Fergus Falls . Thank you to those of you that stopped by the Tri-State Diving booth to say hi. They asked if we would man the Dunk Tank and if we would be the victims for the event. Doyle and Landon took the plunge and each spent a couple of hour's time on the board. There were over 50 people that stepped up to the plate to put Doyle and Landon in the tank. There was over 100 dollars raised for the local cancer society. Thanks to Doyle and Landon for a job well done working in the dunk tank.
Here is a picture of us giving the monies to the society.

The first weekend in March is the Red River Valley Sportsman Boat and Camper Show. If you would like to help out on Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the pool let me know. I know that the people that try scuba really appreciate your efforts. We will again be doing the Big Boys Toys Expo April 15 and 16 so if you know someone that wants to try scuba let them know about the two shows.
This Sat. the crew is setting the site for the Polar Plunge in Perham and the next two Sat. the staff will be helping with Polar plunges in Detroit Lakes and Hiterdahl.
